2 BEDROOM SUITE

Now, a step up on the scale, are the 2 bedroom suites. Likewise, they are more costly than the traditional dorms, at a total year of about $13,000 ($6,500 per semester). These dorms can be found on various locations on campus. The buildings which provide these dorms include Woodland Glen (I,II,III,IV,V), Champions Court I & II, Haggin and Limestone Park I. The Woodland Glen and Haggin dorms are located on south campus, while Champions Court and Limestone Park dorms are located on north campus. So, if this is a dorm you are interested in, you have a wide variety as far as their locations are concerned. These dorms provide much more privacy and space for the 2 students. If you are an individual who is much more private and does not like to share a public restroom facility, then this dorm is much more suitable for you. These dorms provide two private bedrooms and one shared living space, as well as one shared bathroom. Each bedroom comes fully furnished with a bed, desk/chair, closet and dresser. The shared kitchen area comes only with a table and chairs, the students can either supply their own microwave and refrigerator, or be supplied them, with a one-time fee. These dormitories are co-ed and vary in their amount of floors, a variation from 4-8 floors. (These numbers can be found on each specific dorm under the “Dorms” tab). All provide stairs, however only some provide elevators. This could arise as an issue for students who are often in a rush or run a very tight schedule, as they may not have the time to wait for an elevator or climb 8 flights of stairs. Which could also be a problem for an individual with health problems. A student who may not be able to climb 4 flights of stairs may want to resort to one of the dorms which provide an elevator. Now as far as the amenities that these dorms provide, do not differ much than what the traditional dorms provide, other than the fact they are much larger and are newer. These dorms also provide a small living/study area on each floor, as well as a community kitchen and laundry room located in the basement ($1.25 per wash and per dry). Now, for the dorms as a whole, they were just built in 2014, so are still very new. They offer full internet access and cable. The Woodland Glen dorms offer Living Learning Programs (LLP). This offers students of the same interest, often the same major, to reside in the same dorms. This allows students to be able to interact with others of the same interest and build connections. So, if you are a student who likes a little bit more privacy and is willing to pay for that, then you should consider this dorm!
